点评:This Park was both more and less than expected. Let me elaborate. I had thought the ‘shut-ins’ would be rushing water vigorously traversing narrow passages between rocks. Not so. I’ll explain. There are rock formations in which cracks have formed. Water travels through the cracks. Sometimes in interesting ways. But there's no real rushing water. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed the Park. The Visitor Center is quite good with ingenious interactive displays. Of major interest is the flood from a breached dam that devastated the Park. Several nice videos on the flood and Park. There's a nice hike to the Shut-ins (what an interesting term; I thought it was for old folks like me who couldn't get out, but not). We also took The Horseshoe Glade Hike. Nice hike. They've done a great job with the Park.
