点评：We made reservations in advance to bring a car to Martha's Vineyard. The system requires identifying the vehicle make and model at reservation, but it was a rental car and not guaranteed. As luck would have it, we were upgraded to a different car and wanted to make sure it would not create a problem. After calling again in advance, they said it didn't matter as long as the length of the car was the same (or less). Since rental car agencies use a car class, you won't have to worry about not fitting on the boat unless your glass is larger than reserved (ie. bringing a small Kia vs large Cadillac). Concessions on the boat were not the best, but there are snacks available (pizza, muffins) and drinks. Restrooms are also on board. My only caution to travelers is to be careful if you go outside for photos. We went in November and it was so windy the cell phone almost flew out of my hands! Otherwise, the ride was quick (about 20 minutes or less). I also advise that you arrive a minimum of 15 minutes earlier from department. However, the port authority suggest 30 to 45 minutes.
