Other than the popular Japanese chains such as Tokyu Hands and Maruzen, some international brands such as L'Occitane and Birkenstock, this mall is filled with mostly local brand names that foreign visitors might have never heard of.
UNIQUE STORES:
However, the fact that the Disney store, Pokémon Center and giant Capsule store here were perpetually crowded kind of proved that it's still THE MALL to visit if you wish to get some kawaii souvenirs - one of Japan's greatest cultural exports. Pretty cool that we got to experience the limited-time Peanuts Cafe pop-up here too.
ROOFTOP GARDEN:
Other than stores, this mall is also well-known for its rooftop garden on its 9th floor, accessible only via one corner lift/ escalator. Being one of the tallest buildings in Fukuoka, you get to see the views of the entire city and the nearby sea in this port town with mostly shorter buildings. The rooftop garden is also nicely decorated for Christmas or events such as movie premieres.
