A must do when in Phoenix

点评：We are huge baseball fans (Toronto Blue Jays) but they weren’t in town to play the Dbacks during our holiday to Phoenix. Nonetheless, we had to catch a game and saw that the Dbacks were playing the Padres the day after we flew in. The stadium (sports complex) is easy to find and parking is available. Unfortunately, the lot was full so we parked behind Target nearby. Our seats were in section 219 and to be honest I don’t think that there was a bad seat in the place. There are only two decks, lower and second, the attendance was ~9,000 when we went. Food and drink was pricey but that’s pretty standard when going to the ballpark. We even made it onto the Jumbotron! The staff there was SUPER friendly and I found it interesting that you could select tickets for lawn seating which is handy for families with small children who don’t want to be confined to a seat. The weather was perfect, sunny and 25 degrees. I highly recommend catching a game during spring training, the atmosphere is super chill and I like that there wasn’t constant game music and noise like during regular season games.
