点评:Fun, charming & educational. We were greeted by Mary & Pauline? who brought us into an authentic 250+yr old thatched cottage in which the owner Finton was born. There we had our pictures taken & we’re allowed to tour the home.
Next we were taken to another building where the tables were laid out with workstations consisting of everything needed to mix together a batch of authentic Irish scones. Mary instructed us how to prepare the scones. We then toured the farm where Fin explained the farm/sheep business. Showed us how his dog Bailey herded the sheep. Then we were offered the chance to bottle feed the baby sheep. The paths are gravel or concrete so easy to walk.
We then washed up & went back inside to eat the scones we made ourselves along with rhubarb jam & cream. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate was offered to drink. We were given bags to bring our leftovers home. They have a nice little shop that sells the jam, t-shirts & sweatshirts. Plus other merchandise. We were allowed to wander around looking at the house & sheep. Great fun for all ages. Would definitely recommend.
