Fantastic experience - well organised, good rapids!

点评：We took on whitewater rafting for the first time (2 teens, 2 adults).
Excellent experience, well organised, and well looked after by guides who know their stuff (thank you Noel).
We hired a private raft as we weren’t sure if we could hack it with more experienced rafters, but from what we saw the guides make it straightforward whether you are a group of 4 or even 8!
After safety briefings and a short bus ride into Watertown you are straight out on the Black River, experiencing a mix of rapids mainly class III and one class IV.
At the end of the trip you can dive off the rafts and float or swim through the lighter rapids for a mile or so, right back to the parking lot. The kids loved this extra feature.
For those on a road trip, we chose WC / and the Black River as well located for road trips from the Canadian north and eastern shores of Lake Ontario on to upper New York State and the Adirondacks. We happily left our rental car with luggage, passports, etc, as the staff at WC keep your keys safe and have someone on site throughout.
