Family day out but families not welcome?
Anglesey Model Village的点评
点评：We travelled to Anglesey Model Village as a family. My mother had recently undergone major surgery and really fancied a cream tea. We arrived and noted that we wouldn’t be able to all sit together as dogs weren’t allowed in the pods (no issue with that at all) so we sat on a table with 4 on one side of the cafe and the rest of our party a few tables away. WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THW CAFE. Our waitress came over to take our order, unfortunately because our party exceeded 6, we could only choose from the reduced menu? She could have the scone but wouldn’t be able to have tea with it? A cream tea, with no tea? A ‘whistlestop cafe’ with no tea? The poor girl serving seemed awkward and equally as baffled as we were? Had my mum been in better health we would have chosen to leave but It had taken some time for her to navigate the car park, she didn’t have the energy to get back up and leave so we chose to stay and we each had a cold drink and cake (unfortunately none of which worth the price we had paid)
Needless to say we didn’t stay to visit the Model Village and won’t be back again. Seems such a shame, we visited the model village when it first opened and had such a lovely time but somewhere along the way they appear to have lost their way, the empty seats and terrible reviews are proof of that.
