Boat needs some TLC!

点评：The Michigan Princess out of Lansing was fun but the boat certainly needs some work. Looks great in the pictures and they keep the interior OK (not great-pans on the floor for leaks) but the exterior really needs repairs, paint, new carpeting and some real TLC! It wasn't particularly clean - coffee cups left behind, one overflowing ashtray and just felt old!
The welcoming Dixieland musical trio was fun. The actual sailing trip was short...very short. We traveled 3 miles up river and then turned around and came back down. Relaxing certainly, but not much to see and very short!
Everyone onboard was very nice, including the Captain who allows visitors to his 'bridge" while he is sailing. The lunch was fine. Very ironic that the "vegetable" lasagna, which we expected to have vegetables had none, just mountains of cheese and a few lasagna noodles. Service was good. I certainly didn't leave hungry, but it was very cafeteria type food.
Easy to book online or by phone call. Ample parking. Refunds not given for rain but you can book another day.
Overall pleasant, but I won't highly recommend it.
