Great gardens. More gluten free options would be appreciated.

点评：First time visiting the gardens here. Even in Autumn there is plenty to see with the huge variety of trees - some turning wonderful shades of red, orange or yellow.
We walked up to the summit where there are great views down the valley. The bear hut in the rockery/valley is stunning. Great to be able to read the history on it.
We ate in the cafe in the house, so can’t comment on the stables cafe near the entrance. This was nicely decorated inside and had 2 decent sized seating areas and a small area with seating outside (which we opted for).
There were plenty of food options for my husband, but alas sandwich wise there was only one option for me as someone who can’t tolerate gluten - cheese (which is a bit boring when hubby had a cheese and ham croquette sandwich and a Cornish pasty warmed up).
We shall have to visit again to explore the huge grounds more.
