点评:My family and I visited Danebury Iron Age Hill Fort this morning. We were saddened by the number of signs warning about lots of things we shouldn't do (let dogs off leads, though the vast majority of dog owners did, camp, let off fireworks fly drones etc).
We were saddened because we imagine these signs were needed and people have previously done these things. We were also saddened by how many times the signs were repeated: as we approached the gate, on the toilets, on the second gate. So many signs telling us what not to do - but nothing, no signs explaining Danebury Iron Age Hill Fort's history.
I can see on the DIAHF website there are story resources for families and information for adults but we would have enjoyed our visit so much more to have access to this information on boards, or available through QR codes. Perhaps some of the many do not signs could be replaced with infromation relevant to the site?
