点评：Prices on the high side likely because you're picking your choice, but I have a gripe about that, more later. Fruit (raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, plums) good quality , when available, for either eating or jam-making; the plums were too bland no sweetness.. We did not pick any vegetables. My tip: only go if the particular fruit you want is in huge supply. Explanation : The rows which were open for picking had run out of beautiful ripe good stuff, so you picked smaller half-ripe fruit, yet rows right next were loaded with beautiful ripe fruit but blocked off, and stopped by staff from picking there. And for the poorer quality fruit you paid the same top price. The next batch of pickers to come along no doubt had those better quality ripe fruit, all at the same price as what you paid for the poorer quality. Other reviewers have commented on this problem, and considering Parkside people know what's available by early afternoon, should have the decency to let their customers know they will not be getting either the quality or amount they want. Parkside charges entry £4 per head, very young children included, so a family of 4 or 5 may well struggle to find enough quality fruit to offset that £4 per head charge. An extra £1 is levied per head as a booking fee, not per car, that's a ridiculous charge and should be looked at.
