点评:While in a fairly remote location requiring about a ninety-minute hour drive out of Spokane, Palouse Falls State Park is still worth the journey. This Washington State Park features what some have called the best waterfall in Washington. In fact, it is designated the official waterfall of Washington. The drive does include an unpaved road to the get to the entrance of the park. There is an entrance fee though the entrance was not staffed the day we were there. There is a self-pay station down by the waterfall area. The park has plenty of off-street free parking. It also has picnic tables and shelters. There are restrooms on site. The falls are spectacular and there are many viewing areas from various angles though you are precluded from getting up close to the waterfall. We went in April and were afforded a nice view of rushing waters. The marmots were out and provided some additional fun moments watching them in action. You can exit and head to Walla Walla after your visit. It is about two hours away.
