点评：We had an amazing time at the Russell’s Reserve tasting experience at the Wild Turkey Distillery! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well done.
The grounds were clean and beautifully maintained, and the barn where the tasting took place was absolutely gorgeous—rustic charm meets bourbon heaven. The atmosphere alone set the tone for a great experience.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and really brought the history and craftsmanship of Russell’s Reserve to life. It was so cool getting to try an assortment of unique flavor profiles specific to this tasting. Each pour gave us something different to appreciate, and we loved learning what makes Russell’s Reserve stand out.
One thing to note: it was a bit challenging to find Ubers/Lyfts in town, so plan ahead if you’re hoping to avoid having a designated driver—but that’s no fault of the distillery and definitely worth the effort!
We also really appreciated that the gift shop offers paid tastings of additional current releases, so you can try even more if you’re feeling adventurous (and not driving!). The whole team was welcoming and professional, and the experience was an absolute highlight of our trip.
Highly recommend for any bourbon fan—or anyone looking to enjoy a gorgeous Kentucky afternoon with great drinks and even better stories. Cheers! 🥃
