Disappointing Visit: overpriced and not enough animals.

点评：To start with the positives: the cafe is really nice, does good pizzas and breakfasts. The staff are also warm and friendly. The bathrooms were clean when we visited.
However the Wildwood site itself (where the animal enclosures are) is scruffy and unloved. The more formal bits of garden need attention. There are too many empty displays. The Red Squirrel section was closed. There are no otters, and no wolves to be seen.
The map is incorrect and misleading. We walked across to the woodland area and the map suggested a circular route but the end of the route was blocked off and there was only a very steep, uneven path back to the Wildwood part of the site, unsuitable for anyone but the most active and agile.
We arrived in the morning and the bears were in their overnight enclosure and pacing up and down, looking miserable. The large enclosure had staff working in it, doing maintenance, but it made the overhead bear walk pointless because there were no bears to be seen.
For £15 each, I was expecting a bit more, to be honest.
