A Disappointing Day At Walnut Tree Farm Park.

点评：A very disappointing trip. This place has huge potential to be great, but it appears totally run down, understaffed & neglected. It appears to need a lot of money spent on the farm to bring it up to a better level, but simple things like the signage outside to give info on the different animals was missing or on the wrong paddock in a lot of places. Little things like that don't cost more than a couple pounds. The paddocks need maintaining to a higher standard...tall weeds, old tools rusting in the weeds & nettles, poor fencing. Animal shelters needed a good mucking out. The staff that were there were run off their feet in the cafe area, service was very slow (an hour to be served 5 portions of chips) & when it was brought to the table it was terrible...in fact I had a discreet word with the chef/cook who agreed with me & gave me a full refund. Good indoor play areas, one for young kids & a larger area for the older ones. Outside is good to let the children run about to let off steam. If this farm park was improved it would make a great educational day trip for local schools, it's a shame it's in the state it's in. I will not be going back anytime soon.
