点评:We visited Buchan caves during the first weekend in November. We were lucky to have a sunny and nice weather during our visit. We never dreamt about seeing the naturally occurring stalactites and stalagmites about which we had read first time during our school geographic lessons. It was a prebooked visit to the cave with a limited number of visitors in each group. We went through narrow pathways, which were well lit while one guide leading and the other at the end of the group. The guides not only provided information but also were helpful. Railings to hold throughout the passage made our journey convenient so that both young and old could safely walk while bending in a few places with low ceilings. In some areas, stalactites were seen hanging on the roof while pillars and columns of both thin and thick stalagnate were also seen. It was breathtaking to see sparkling tiny droplets of water like jewels on the surface of white stalagmites in the dim light. The whole area looked as if nature had carved a palace underground.
