Not really a winery, more like “winery-inspired”

点评：To call this a winery is a bit disingenuous, it’s more of a winery-inspired establishment that serves bottled berry-infused wine cocktails. It’s not bad, it’s just not wine in the traditional sense of the word. If you come here expecting wine, you’ll probably be a little disappointed as I was.
Having said that, the staff was great and we did have a nice time here. We also did end up purchasing a bottle of one of their wine cocktails. Although, it was our understanding that they would reimburse us for one of the tasting fees, but they never honored that promise and still charged us in full for the tasting.
I don’t think I’ll come back here, and if you’re ever in Homer, I’d recommend to maybe stick to breweries and leave the wine tasting for the lower 48. There’s a lot of great things to do and see in Homer, but as you would probably expect, wine is not one of them. I suppose we should have known better.
If you do still come here, adjust your expectations and see it more as a cocktail tasting and not a wine tasting. You’ll have a better experience that way.
