Walking through the narrow gorge into Little Petra reminded me of a smaller Siq. The caves, stairways, and carved chambers here were once used as dining halls and resting places for Silk Road traders. It’s incredible to imagine the life and stories these walls once held.
Unlike Petra’s main sites, Al-Beidha feels calm and authentic, giving you space to explore at your own pace. The scale is smaller but its charm is huge — perfect if you want to step back in time without the hustle. Combine it with Petra for a full experience of Nabatean culture.
