点评:William and I communicated via emails several months in advance of my trip because I had very specific D-Day battle sites I wanted to visit. I wanted to visit the sites where the 507th PIR had fought from the morning of June 6th through June 9th, 1944. William met the 6 of us (3 couples) on the train platform to ensure finding us. Throughout the day and at each location William was exceptionally prepared with the histories and background on each site and the Troopers who fought there. As we talked on our way back to our cruise ship, EVERYONE agreed that he exceeded our expectations with his knowledge, familiarity with the locations, personal anecdotes and his English language skills. Personally I have to say that I got the best of our deal, not only I did I get a spectacular guide, I also made a life-long friend! Merci mon ami.
