West Coast Expeditions的点评
点评：My experience at West Coast Expeditions was an amazing one. It was a mix of base camping and kayak expedition.
The accommodation at the base camp was cozy and large. The group I was with slept in the canvas tents that were set up along the waters edge. It was a quiet and peaceful place to finish off your night with ample space to stretch and move around.
The interactions we had with the staff Bev, Dan, Andy, and Audrey (Bevs grand daughter) were phenominal. They were all so knowledge about Kyuquot Sound and provided my group with a one of a kind experience. Dan was our guide and main point of contact during our 14 days and he really delivered. He prepared the food for our kayak expedition, took us around Spring Island and talked to our group about the intertidal and forest ecosystems.
Andy was another guide that works at WCE and even though he wasnt our guide he still engaged with us in a personal and genuine way adding to our experience.
This is a really special place to visit. The views were spectacular and were always accompanied by some kind of wildlife - wolves, sea otters, seals, sea lions, eagles, and all of the rich intertidal life! The place was alive!
Im looking forward to the next chance I get to make it back to Spring Island and Kyuquot Sound! A paddlers paradise.
