Great local market with amazing food/seafood

点评：Jeju Dongmun Traditional Market
As in our tradition on every trip, a market visit is not just a must, but almost like a religious pilgrimage!
This is Jeju Island’s largest and oldest permanent market. A street market, night market, traditional market, and seafood market are all combined in one place, and there are many places where you can eat and shop, so it is popular with tourists.
Walking through all the sections, one does not really wish to leave, the abundance of freshest seafood, Korea’s popular meats, the Black Pig fr example, are available as far as the eyes can feast!
Be careful if you drive, parking was fairly easy but remember where you put the car, the market is so huge, you will surely get lost! So remember exactly which gate entrance you use!
On the serviceable side of things! The vendors/hawkers were generally super friendly and helpful! We naturally picked up a bunch of goodies, that we devoured with gusto once we reached our Dasha!
Food taste and flavours certainly lived up to the high expectations one got to knew from travelers and the Koreans themselves! They take utmost pride in even the simplest of things that are mostly all freshly prepared in front of you!
A great place to visit while in Jeju! Highly recommended!
