Exceptional Rafting Trip with an Exceptional Staff

点评：August 6 I took a 1/2 day upper Taylor River extended rafting trip with Scenic River Tours located in Gunnison, Colorado. Our particular trip was at their location in Almont. The experience from booking through when the trip finalized was exceptional in every way. I booked the trip through the Gunnison office with Carolyn, who was very friendly and explanatory about what to expect and also made sure that I received my confirmation. Upon arriving at the Almont location, my reservation was confirmed by Jordan, who also offered the rental of a wetsuit. After some consideration, I decided to add the wetsuit and at the end of the trip decided this was one of the best decision I had ever made. I am grateful to Jordan for her recommendation. Our trip guide was Shakti who was very professional, patient, explanatory and friendly and because of him this trip well exceeded my expectations. This trip included level 2/3 rapids, but what wasn’t expected was a lengthy and torrential pouring down rain about half the way through. We pulled to the bank where Shakti offered us the option of discontinuing the trip or going on and we all voted to go on. Then Scenic staff brought down rain jackets and distributed one to each of us. Shakti made the trip extremely pleasant and smooth, and we saw gorgeous scenery all along the way. I can’t speak highly enough of this company and it’s employees and we look forward to returning for future trips.
