Seaton Delaval Hall的点评
点评：We were looking forward to visiting seaton delaval hall for the Christmas event. It was open until 8pm. We were excited to see the chromas decorations.
On arrival it looked beautiful lit up with two Christmas trees in front of the Hall, however after entering we soon realised that apart from a huge bauble in the centre of the hall that was about it for the decorations. We arrived about 4pm and they had crafts on and a violinist from 5:30pm. Understandably the gardens were closed due to it being pitch black but there were also areas of the hall that were also closed. We had looked around the hall within about 20 minutes. We have been numerous times before so had seen it all before but was expecting it to be Christmassy inside, but it wasn’t.
The rooms were all the same as previous visits.
We couldn’t think of anything else to do for the remaining 1 hour and 10 minutes until the violinist started and the crafts began so we headed back to the car.
I wish they had made the hall a lot more Christmassy seeing as it was a Christmassy event. The cafe was open but I find national trust cafes overpriced and I can’t afford to eat or drink in them.
