Marquess of Anglesey's Column的点评
点评：Fantastic place to visit. Lovely cafe with very friendly staff and an excellent egg bacon and sausage patty bap
(Mince pies were also very good!)
The marquis’ column provides fantastic views over the whole area the two bridges and Menai straits and although it was a cloudy day we could even see over to Llandudno
I noticed in the excellent visitors centre that children could actually be given a certificate showing they had completed the 115 steps up the 20 metre column There was also plenty for them to read about on the informative wall stations about the history of the Marquis and the battle of Waterloo
We were very lucky today to also meet two members of the Anglesey Hussars and Napoleonic re-enactment unit who visit regularly. They were very informative and helpful and looked fabulous in their uniforms patiently posing for my photographs and endless questions with very good humour
Make sure you take a trip here best £5 I’ve spent in a long while
