点评：While in Bentonville visiting the Crystal Bridges Museum, we decided to stop at the Walmart Museum. We didn’t have any expectations, but thought it might be a fun place to check out.
The museum is located on the downtown square in Bentonville. Across the street is a lovely park. The museum itself was nicely put together with a lot of different displays about the history of Walmart and the Walton family.
In a down stair section of the Museum, Sam Walton‘s pick up is there. And if you go upstairs, they have a little theater where there is a hologram of Sam Walton. One of the employees conducts an interview with the hologram and you get to see and hear Sam Walton answer questions. It was actually kind of interesting and kind of fun to see.
One of the interesting things on display was the Medal Of Freedom that was awarded to Sam Walton. There’s a little display with a video of the award ceremony with President Bush.
Downstairs there’s a little ice cream shop so don’t forget to stop and have some ice cream.
