Magical spot, wonderful wines, and exceptional food!

点评：We have been travelling to this little spot for many years, and nothings changed. Warm and welcoming owners, beautiful clean wines… and absolutely incredible (rustic, paddock to plate) organic food.
This place is an institution for us, we cannot wait to visit every time, to sit outside and enjoy the ambience- gorgeous views. Our favourite drops are sparkling Alexandra, captains creek sparkling Hepburn, and sparkling Bullarook… and a sneaky Pinot. You can do a tasting, or just enjoy everything by the glass whilst eating lunch, or having a grazing platter.
The food is heartwarming, generous and the real deal… seasonal and so fresh. This visit, I had the oven roasted gnocchi, and it was outstanding; Beautiful subtle flavours. My partner had the chicken pie. He said it was probably the best pie he’d ever had! The roast potatoes were to die for. The basque cheesecake was so good! We have also had the grazing platter on other occasions, which is always plentiful, and absolutely delicious.
It’s such a treat to come here, also knowing you are supporting local produce, and a wonderful family business. Thank you Catherine and Doug (and your funny gorgeous mother who served us). Keep up the amazing work! :-).
