A good activity farm for under 13 year olds.
Willows Activity Farm的点评
点评：I first came here as a child well over 40 years ago when it was called "Bowmans farm." Then in 2002 the farm was taken over and well as been given a new name "Willows Activity Farm" this place has changed for the better. Certainly over the past 6+ approx years since taking my own family here, we've noted Willows Farm has continued with improvements especially with "Meet the Santa" Christmas event. The new addition of early tickets 08:45 and 9am slots (must arrive 15 minutes early, this is not the actual time you see Santa but rather the time to que up.) meant no queing up in the cold unlike previous years, especially like today when it's been raining.
Our visit was a bitter sweet moment, no longer a child but not quite an adult my youngest is at the stage of moving on from seeing Santa (13.) So today was our final Christmas visit and despite the bitterly cold weather, we made most of it together creating happy fond memories. Reaching Willows Farm via public transport is fairly easily, there is bus stops close to Lowbell lane which leads to Willows Farm a short walk away. Mind the road can be busy, the buses are fairly frequent! Thank-you for Santa, the Elves and Tractor driver making my SEN feel so welcomed, they loved going around twice on Tristen the Tractor. Only niggle, Guniea-pigs are kept outside (under cover.) in the cold and cramped in small homes. 10.5 square foot is recommened per Guniea-pig, yes they have fur but wiggies are sensitive to heat and cold (well as loud noises.) Only food could see for them was pellets, very little hay, not enough hidey houses and very little popcorn zoomy space. Ps. The Santa lift was amazing, so much better than previous years.
