Not what I expected but not in a good way

点评：I guess I should have done more research before agreeing to go but the flyer and website could be clearer about schedule etc.: I assumed that dinner would be served on the train and the event would last about 2 hours.
Although the start time is given as 6:30, the train doesn’t depart until 8pm returning around 11:30. Before departure an uninspiring mass-catered ‘meal’ is available with overpriced drinks.
Our designated start coach, D, doesn’t have seats for everyone and these were quickly reserved if not actually occupied and off-train seating was limited. Faced with the prospect of standing for up to 90 minutes until the first carriage swap we decided to cut our losses and leave.
If you really want to go, my advice would be to have a decent dinner at a local pub or restaurant and arrive a few minutes before 8pm although I would never repeat the experience.
