点评:We had no idea what we would see until we got to the area where the log slide had been and started looking around. From the top looking straight down to the beach/water, my mind couldn’t comprehend how far down it was from the top to the shoreline… until we saw people on the beach and playing in the water. They looked so tiny! INCREDIBLE! We had no idea sand dunes this size existed on the Upper Peninsula! The shoreline and dunes that reach to the East completely blew us away when we saw how big and how far it was! To properly see this area, plan on 3-4 hours to hike and be ready to climb. It only takes a few minutes to get down to the water, but it could take an hour or longer for some people to try and climb back up. My wife and I want to come back when we have more time, water, and a day pack with food and essentials.
We visited here on a wonder blue sky summer day in August! Simply Breathtaking! Need to return!

我们在八月一个晴朗的夏日里来过这里!简直美得令人窒息!一定要再来!
