点评：We had seen another Frank Lloyd Wright home (the one in Springfield, IL) and was going to skip this tour, especially with the $15/adult fee. However, we had some extra time to fill, so we decided to take the tour. We are glad we did. I especially liked that the Guide talked about how the lines/angles were in the Prairie School style and worked together and was throughout the house. What seemed simplistic at first, was actually more complex.
You are encouraged to reserve your spot online since they only allow 8 people to go on the tour at a time. There are limited tours, so being there when one is offered can be difficult. Still, we were the only ones on our tour. It was quite easy to reserve online and I did not have to pay until we showed up. You start the tour across from the house in the Architectural Interpretive Center. (a parking lot is in between the two) I would encourage you to arrive several minutes early (or plan to stay longer) to look around. The tour includes only a few highlights of the museum and a film about Wright and the Stockmans before walking over to the house for the tour.
Be sure to leave time to walk to the nearby Willow Creek Waterfall. It's pretty small, but still pretty to see.
