Another fabulous stay at the windmill

点评：We had a really lovely time at this campsite — the location is beautiful, facilities are clean, and it’s a great spot for families. The kids loved exploring and it was generally peaceful and well-maintained.
Unfortunately, our experience was soured slightly by an interaction with the owner, who approached us in an unexpectedly aggressive manner about noise — something we hadn’t been made aware was an issue by any other campers. In fact, no one had said anything to us directly, and we genuinely thought we were being respectful of others.
It’s a shame, because the campsite itself is great and we’d otherwise have left with only good memories. Hopefully just a one-off, but worth mentioning in case you’re coming with children or expecting a more relaxed, communicative approach.
