Kiplin Hall and Gardens的点评
点评：Visited Kiplin Hall on what we hoped would be a warm sunny June day... It was blowing a gale , very cool and cloudy. However it did not dampen our spirits and we had a lovely day. The staff were friendly helpful and informative and even the workmen who were working on the hall were friendly and helpful , opening a gate for us to pass through that we thought was locked. The Hall was lovely to see with great volunteers and some lovely artefacts. The afternoon tea knives were interesting to see.
Lovely walk around the lake, unfortunately had to have a car picnic as it was just too cool and draughty to enjoy the gorgeous picnic spots dotted around the site. We just missed the Laburnum in all its glory but caught the tail end of the colour.
Great day out, reasonably priced. Very clean toilets. Loads of wildlife. Great folly that catered for children and wildlife education.
