The Marsden Grotto的点评
点评：One of our favourite places,
First time we came here was about 2 year ago for our anniversary, having been recommended by a friend, we loved it so much we just had to come back. We booked the same room (Sweet kisses) talk about room with a view. Right on the seafront, gorgeous design with fab roll top bath! Just so quirky but so lovely too x
The restaurant food is to die for, the surf and turf is a must, beautiful.
I had the lemon tart for pudding, yum!
Staff here can’t do enough for you, Erin who was so attentive and happy to have us back, nothing too much trouble. Couple of negatives you may read about, - no WiFi/ phone signal, but like us, we just enjoyed the escape for a night alone where we could just enjoy ourselves and not our phones! Also no air con in the rooms, which was tough for us on one of the hottest days of the year so far. We could open the window but there’s no quiet seagulls in marsden ! But it really never spoilt our stay, we don’t have air con in our room at home, it’s just a nice luxury to have when in a hotel, but not a necessity for us.
We are already planning our next visit, can’t say enough about it, you’ve just got to try it and see for yourself x
