点评：My experience today didn't seem to compare with other reviews. We arrived about 10:15. We waited about 2 hours for the bus tour. After about a 10 minute ride, we got off at the first stop. There wasn't much to see there. There is a cone from a rocket engine that shoots theatrical fog and makes noise. But, then it was an hour wait to get back on the bus. There was second stop but we didn't get off because we didn't want to wait another hour to get back to the exhibits. The bus operation were poorly managed and buses seems to run sporadically. Ride time on the bus itself is 30-35 total minutes and drives past the assembly building and they show a video that is informative. The rest of the time is waiting in line. Half of the day was invested in this. I wish I had skipped the bus tour.
I think the time invested in the bus tour would have been better spent at the exhibit area. I was told the VR stuff was interesting, but by the time the bus ride was over, those slots were full. The shuttle exhibit was interesting but it starts with a 10 minute movie. That area only has seats in the back against the wall. They ask everyone else to sit on the floor. Asking adults to sit on the floor was a bit much. Put some benches in.
There are hands-on exhibits again which were interesting. However, much of the technology was out of service or not functioning correctly. For the visitor center of one of world's leading technology organization, they should be embarrassed by the state of their simulator exhibits. There are plenty of them if only they worked.
The $15 parking fee is simply annoying. Just build the fee into the ticket. It isn't like anyone is parking there for anything other reason that to go the visitor center.
