点评:Wow what a find. Right next to our campsite. It was an amazing experience. We wandered round to the station which is stunning and well maintained and were met by the workers at the station, who were really welcoming and knowledgeable about the trains and the train line. There is a little gem of a cafe serving coffees and teas as well as light food, such as toasties, pastries and cakes. There is also the opportunity to buy a gift to take home, to remember your day. There is a train timetable and you can book tickets online or at the station, cash or card is accepted. The trains and carriages are so well maintained they are lovely. There is a signal box which is manned and you are able to go in and have a look around. The gentleman was very informative of how the signals worked and showed us all the workings of the box including how the send messages down the line. We boarded and off we went to Bala, where the train turns around for the journey back. Bala is approx 15 mins walk down a track. We stayed on and came back. Just a tip for those who allow their dogs, children or themselves to hang out of the windows. The train is coal driven so you get ash in your eyes. Also is it really wise to let your anxious dog to hang out of a moving train?
There is also a heritage museum at the station further down next to the workshop. It is very informative and very interesting and a must visit. Overall it was brilliant and a must on your “to do” list

车站旁边的车间旁边还有一个文化遗产博物馆。它信息量很大,也很有趣,绝对值得一去。总而言之,它非常棒,绝对应该列入你的“必做”清单。
