A Hidden Gem in Lyme Regis

点评：This 700-year-old flour mill was such a delightful surprise while exploring Lyme Regis!
They start at around 10:30 am, and it was wonderful to see the mill actually working and producing flour, powered by the large water wheel. We even bought a bag of flour as a little souvenir.
My 6-year-old daughter was given an activity sheet to complete while exploring the mill, which helped keep her engaged. Inside, there is also a detailed model of the mill itself, which was very interesting to see.
Best of all, entry is completely free. We felt very privileged to be able to visit such a historic and well-preserved place.
Next door is a pottery workshop, where we watched a potter creating beautiful pieces on the wheel. It was fascinating and added even more interest to our visit.
A tip for anyone visiting Lyme Regis: use the Park and Ride service if possible. It was much easier and less stressful than driving into town and trying to find parking.
Highly recommended for families, history enthusiasts, and anyone looking for something a little different.
