Great day with an excellent Guide

点评：Booked this Giza Pyramids-Egyptian Grand Museum tour separately from cruise line with Ramissides directly. They were very communicative and provided great info on meeting up outside cruise terminal. One benefit we realized is we passed all the cruise ship tour buses while walking out and got on the road before them all.
Our guide Amir was great and shared lots of Egyptian history and stories. He kept our group together, told us what to look out for and not do, or helped if we wanted to do anything like buy something to ensure we were not hustled. We did camel rides and saw the sphinx before all the many many cruise tour buses showed up. Lots of great photo ops at the pyramids with a trusted guide.
Lunch was basic and nice with great views of the pyramids. A nice rest in a/c. The papyrus stop was interesting.
The Egyptian grand museum was incredible. Amir knew so much history and expertly tied it together with earlier things we saw or he told us about. We has earpieces so he could talk to us as we toured the museum showing us all the important parts. It was nice to listen and look at everything and the intricacies and details of the artifacts instead of reading everything.
Driver and van was nice and comfortable. We were a group of 8. We were so glad for so many reasons to not be on a bus tour.
Very happy with Ramissides and our guide Amir. Would definitely recommend. It was a great and perfect day that exceeded our expectations.
