Visiting Brancusi! ... expected more , much much more.

点评：One of the biggest most important exhibitions of the work of Constantin Brancusi was held in Timisoara - open for 4 months at the Arts Museum in Unirii Square.
Great - I thought to myself this is an exhibit worth seeing ... something that doesn't happen that often to get so many works of the master under the same roof simultaneously.
I open in September 2023 - last days of the month - and since than every time I was passing through the Unirii Sqaure - people were queuing up to enter ... tickets were to be found on-line. Well we did not get a suitable time so one Saturday morning we went to the museum and we queued up to buy tickets on spot.
Here comes the pain ... 2 hours and 39 minutes in the queue - why? not because there were 25000 people trying to buy tickets - but because there was only 1 both with 1 cashier working at the museum - the other 2 were just "spectators" .... due to "technical reasons" ...(read very poor management) .
We got our tickets , we returned 3 hours later (you could not get in right away you've got the entry time on your ticket) and finally got to see the works of the Master.
Inside extremely warm - even leaving the jackets at the wardrobe and entering in just T-shirt , ... well we were sweating ... getting over it , enjoying the exhibit ... audio guide was available - you know - scan the code - listen on your phone. Well that guide was put together like all the visitors were art critics and connoisseurs of the deepest artistic background , at least in my engineer head it sounded like this.
The exhibit space felt crowded - there is so much museum space and they used several small rooms - totally not suited for having so many people , it was expected , it happened, but ....
Talking about the art - well the artist is unique and his art even more, the exhibit was a collection of so many of his famous works , however understanding the messages in his sculptures is truly up to the beholder. I will not get into details like: in "the Kiss" the artist was looking to find the essence of his artistic expression for more than 15 years in several forms and shapes , or for the "Bird in Space" he was looking for nothing but the essence of flight .. etc. No, whit every kind of art you shall see it for yourself and filter it through your thoughts.
Overall it could have been "the most.." , "the biggest ..." , the , you name it - for me it was way less than I was expecting topped with the annoying ticket purchasing process. Art of Brancusi is very interesting that's for sure , if you catch something similar somewhere else I recommend you check it out.

展览空间感觉很拥挤——博物馆空间太大了，他们用了几个小房间——完全不适合容纳这么多人，这是预料之中的，它发生了，但是……
