Blue Lagoon的点评
点评：A taxi will charge you 5,000 (each way to get there). A bus (just say you are going to Eton) will charge you 400-700 VT. Sometimes difficult to find a bus departing from Port Vila, however super easy to find a bus on the way back (400 VT).
The lagoon itself is gorgeous and the blue color of the water is beautiful. However on some parts of the lagoon I saw a dirty surface because of the sun cream people use. They should force people to shower before jumping in the lagoon.
The lagoon is not very deep (2-3 meters max) and it varies with the tides. Be careful if there is low tide when jumping as the lagoon might not be as deep as you think.
There are lots of places where to jump (a platform at 4m high), a swing/rope. The locals there teach you how to jump safely. Very cool for both adults and kids.
Entrance costs 1,200 VT (10 USD)
I was really disappointed by the cafe. They had run out of bottles of water and the people there didn’t seem to be bothered to go get more bottles. They only had canned sugary drinks. I had an Apple juice that was really disgusting and wouldn’t be surprised if it was expired.
On the way back to Port Vila I recommend you stop at the Aelan chocolate factory for the tour (1,000 VT) and a great shop.
