点评：We visited here as a family of 4 (6- and 9-year-old) in July. It was quite a nice sunny day, so was reasonably busy. There was quite a lot to do, so unfortunately, we probably didn’t do it justice as we had a look in the RAF museum for a brief period, a visit to the play area and wild play area. These were all well laid out, with some interesting information in the museum area.
We took a walk to the main house, via the church. The church was interesting to have a look around. It was a good walk to the main house, via the summer banquet room that had a lovely view to it.
There were quite a few activities outside the main house for children and adults to do. We spent a bit of time on this. We then only had a short amount of time to look around the house, so unfortunately didn’t get around all of it. As we were coming out at closing time, it started to rain, one of the volunteers was very kind enough to give us a lift up to the main car park. He gave us some titbits of information as we drove back up.
Lovely place, we would return if we are in the area in the future.
