点评:We took the all-day tour of, left at 8;00 am and returned around 5:00 pm. We travelled 270 miles round trip through remote wilderness in eastern Washington, western Idaho and eastern Oregon. Along with the magnificent scenery, we saw some petroglyphs, the remains of copper mines, some old cattle ranches, and other pioneer sites. We saw plenty of wildlife including big horn sheep at three different locations and a brown bear too. We saw several osprey, bald eagles, white pelicans, blue herons, Canada geese and variety of ducks. Captain Jace and deckhand Jeff were great and truly accommodating. Jace kept up a running dialogue with what we were seeing and the experience was one to remember. It was also mail delivery day for the homesteaders that live in the Canyon and we made 4 mail stops today. It was quite fun to boat through the rapids, sometimes a bit bumpy and sometimes a bit wet from the spray.
