Great Activity, More Staff Involvement Needed

点评：We appreciate as Long Islanders the convenience of a ferry ride and shorter overall drive time to go tubing instead of having to always go to PA. The river moves fairly well and you can follow on Facebook for daily updates. There are a lot of rocks and some branches along the way so you need to remain vigil while making your way down river.
The life jackets are disgusting, every single one had mold so bring your own if you have. One of our friends had the plug on his tube come undone early in our trip and we felt like it would be nice if there were some staff members scattered about intermittently on the shoreline to deal with a situation like that. Instead we took turns refilling the air he'd lost.
Everyone out on the river was friendly. The staff we encountered not as much, our connector cables were confiscated at the onset by a curt woman and the kid meant to be giving pointers at the start barely said anything of use so first timers may struggle with the lack of insights provided. The bus driver was not friendly either just barking orders at all of us. More smiles would go a long way when people are coming out to have fun!
Arrive early to give yourself plenty of time, wear good solid water shoes and bring water to keep hydrated.
