Scarborough Castle的点评
点评：We had an amazing time visiting Scarborough Castle and spent three hours there exploring and learning the history of the castle. You are given a map and an audio guide to follow. Please beware that the numbers on the map don’t match the numbers on the audio guide. Please follow the numbers on the boards as you go round.
After spending three hours exploring we ended by getting a drink from the drinks and snack hut. This was reasonably priced and there was a great choice of drinks, cakes and snacks.
There is no parking at the castle but if you are disabled you can ring and book a space within the castle grounds. There approximately 6 spaces. I ran the day before and spoke to Sophie who booked us a space and told me she would be on duty when I arrived and to wait at the gate and she would let us in. Sophie was excellent, we showed our membership cards from the car and Sophie collected two audio guides and brought them to the car. Later on in the day Sophie came up to the refreshment hut where we were having a drink, she recognized us and asked if we had enjoyed our day. Sophie made our trip as she was friendly, organized, caring and kind. We hope to see her again when we visit Whitby Abbey! Thank you Sophie for making our day.
