点评:Travelled from Berlin to Furstenburg (Havel). We actually took the S-Bahn to end of line (Oranienburg) and then took RE5 train to Furstenburg (Havel). Believe you can travel direct from Berlin Hbf. Journey time of 1hr15 mins ( not including wait time for connection). Ravensbruck is located c2.5kms which takes approx 25/30mins to walk. There is an infrequent bus service but not well marked. Admission is free. On day we travelled, Visitor Centre was closed but no issue in walking through the camp as the exhibitions are really well signposted. It is a sobering and thought provoking location and presents a harrowing account of the 150k women who were imprisoned here over many years. Our visit was particularly personal as a great Aunt of ours was incarcerated here in 1944/45 and survived the experience.
There is a library located on site but it is not open to the public. We spoke to two wonderful and helpful gentleman there who went out of their way to research/provide details of our great Aunt to us which made our visit all the more meaningful.
There is no food/ drink for sale on site so advisable to bring own provisions as you can easily spend several hours moving through the indoor exhibitions and indeed the outdoor areas of the camp. Not the easiest location to get to but well worth the visit…thank you.

现场不出售食物/饮料,建议您自带食物,因为参观营地的室内展览和室外区域很容易花费数小时。虽然地点不太好找,但绝对值得一游……谢谢。
