点评:The area now has a sign stating that timed entry is in force. There seemed to be no one enforcing it or any way to do so. There is parking on in lots on both sides of the highway as well as along the highway. We went clockwise along the lake and turned where the sign pointed to the Lily Ridge Trail. There were no trail markers and a clear trail in the valley does not go to the ridge. We climbed about halfway and saw tracks in all directions. So, we went back to the front of the ridge and noticed more tracks and followed that route above the north shore of the lake, which gave wonderful views of the lake and mountains. We met lots of people going counterclockwise. Going down involves uncomfortable rock steps. Having a walking pole helps. I recommend going up counterclockwise and climbing up on those steps. The return to the main trail is pretty obvious at the end of the ridge but there are no markers. There's also a crossing trail to a rock climbing area.
