Clevedon Pier and Heritage Centre的点评
点评：I love visiting Clevedon Pier, it's so charming and it's only 15 minutes from where we live. Our last visit (and first in a very long time regrettably) took place in October of last year. Because it was half term they had organised a Spooky Family Trail for families and we thought our 8 year old daughter would love it and we weren't wrong.
Firstly, the weather on the day was glorious - sunny and unseasonably hot! Clevedon Pier definitely looks its best when bathed in sunshine. The shop was quite busy when we arrived and it is a pain to get around because of its size unfortunately! The lady who served us was lovely and we ended up paying for an annual ticket which is valid for 12 months and cost £5 per adult and £3 per child - fantastic value!
The Spooky Family Trail was great for younger children. Our daughter had to look inside carved pumpkins along the length of the pier - some contained a number, others a spooky or slimy trick and at the end she had to input the code into a little locked coffin to retrieve a token for a sweet from the shop. She enjoyed doing this while my husband and I enjoyed the wander along the pier.
At the end of the pier you'll find the lovely little cafe. We ordered a couple of hot drinks from a lovely lady behind the counter and enjoyed them on the bench in the sunshine while reading some of the dedication plaques.
Lots of people were out and about enjoying the weather and we loved watching people swimming, fishing and paddle boarding. Highly recommended, we'll definitely return before our annual pass expires.
