点评:My friend from near Kisumu took me to Dunga Bay and we had a delicious lunch and museum visit after.
It was very easy to get there, jumping on the back of a moto who dropped us off. We then picked the main largest restaurant overlooking the lake where we were welcomed and ordered some drinks. We sat for an hour or so before ordering the local delicacy of Tilapia with Ugali which we devoured.
Afterwards, we walked around to a boardwalk and museum which is run by the Dunga Ecotourism and Environmental Community Tourism Association. Unfortunately it is weather and part of it was flooded with the rising lake level, however they are developing some new attractions including a cafe and a zipline. It is hidden away and there isn't much promotion, so just ask for the boardwalk and the worker will also walk you round and explain the area.
There are also boat rides but we didn't fancy it.
