点评：Black Bear Golf Club and Resort is an absolute golfer's Mecca. It's 18 hole championship golf course is rated amongst the very top tests of golf in Canada. It is complimented by a sheltered 9-hole executive course a two- sided range and learning academy as well one of the best short game practice facilities to be found everywhere.
Black Bear GC has hosted top professional, amateur, corporate and community golf events, supported by three 5-star lodges, a conference centre with an adjacent bar (a real visitor favourite with a memorable view). a full service clubhouse and (yes) a bocce club!
What really makes Black Bear special its top notch ownership team and staff. PGA professionals Jamie Nicholas and Ben Graham are (almost) always there, welcoming, assisting and going the extra mile to ensure every visitor enjoys every visit.
The golf facility is regularly rater amongst the top 5 courses in Ontario thanks to the expertise of Eric Van Grewen (Superintendent and a great guy) and his assistant, Sheldy Ribbel (who is eager and able to share useful insights regarding maintenance).
All of this is possible as the legacy of Founder, Brian McGee and the brilliant Stewardship of Cale
Fair and Alex Sharpe.
You've probably guessed that I love Black Bear Golf Course. I've been involved with Golf Canada and Golf Ontario championships there as well as junior SuperCamps and combines.
I've never been disappointed.
