Very disappointing
Lough Boora Discovery Park的点评
点评：We finally made our long awaited visit to Lough Boora Discovery Park on 2nd Nov 2023 during schools' autumn mid term break. It was very disappointing. The café was closed and even allowing for the time of year it was badly maintained, e.g. too many information signs were old, weathered and often difficult to read. The maps were next to useless and gave no indication of where one was in the area, a simple “you are here” indicator would have been helpful. Some trails went outside the actual “park” area but again this wasn’t always clear. Toilets at the visitor centre, that were open earlier, but were closed at 15:55 even thought the car park was to close at 16:30. A notice that other toilets were available at the pavilion (approx. 1km away in the opposite direction to the carpark) was a joke. Any notices about the carparking charge only referred to a €5 cash payment for a token, yet at the exit barrier payment by card was possible.
