点评：The 16 sided house looks quite small from the outside but it changed once inside. I can imagine Jane and Mary Parmenter living there. I recommend the "estate tour" which takes just over an hour as the volunteer gives you so much information about the history of the house, its occupants, the land they owned and then visit the house itself. Each room has a volunteer who are only too pleased to pass on their knowledge of the property. The new shell room is a delight, everyone is allowed to touch the shells and feathers or sit and admire.
If there are enough volunteers there is also a VR experience of the shell gallery (you sit in a chair in the old kitchen and are transported into the shell gallery which is amazing) You have to be over 12 to experience the VR. Also there are tv screens showing the shell gallery. On a nice day the grounds are simply stunning sit and have a picnic overlooking the estuary. An amazing day out.
